A DAY TO REMEMBER

Every year when May 2nd rolls around, I think of the Toronto Maple Leafs Stanley Cup win in 1967.

But this year, I also remember Red Kelly, who passed away on May 2, 2019.

In '67, Red assisted on the opening goal by Ron Ellis in game six against Montreal, then earned a second helper when George Armstrong scored into an empty net to clinch the 3-1 win and the Cup.
